1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using The Unplugged Podcast Maker ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Application. If you are a minor, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms.
2. Creator Content Ownership (100% Yours)
You, your students, or your children retain 100% full intellectual property ownership and copyright of all podcast recordings, voice tracks, original scripts, cover art drawings, and exported `.m4a` audio files created using the Application.
We claim no ownership, rights, or licenses over your completed shows. You are free to publish, share, distribute, or monetize your completed episodes anywhere you choose (including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, school radio, or personal websites).
3. Bundled Audio & Music License (CC-BY 4.0)
All built-in sound effects (70 studio sounds) and bundled soundtrack themes are original master recordings created and owned by Sethi De Clercq and released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0) license:
- You are granted worldwide, royalty-free rights to incorporate these sounds and music beds into your podcasts and videos.
- All tracks are explicitly opted out of automated Content ID registries to prevent false automated copyright claims.
- Recommended attribution: "Audio Credit: Music by Sethi De Clercq for Unplugged Podcast Maker (CC-BY 4.0)."
4. In-App Purchase & Lifetime Pro Licensing
The Application is free to download and use with full 4-track recording capabilities. Users may unlock the optional Unplugged Podcast Pro tier via a one-time In-App Purchase ($4.99 USD or local equivalent):
- No Subscriptions: This is a one-time lifetime license. There are no recurring monthly or annual charges.
- Family Sharing: Supported across all linked family member Apple IDs via iCloud Family Sharing.
- Apple School Manager (VPP): Volume purchases and educational discounts deployed through Mobile Device Management (MDM) are fully honored.
- Restore Purchases: You may restore your purchase on any compatible iOS/iPadOS device signed in with the same Apple ID at any time via the "Restore" button.
5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. While we incorporate features such as a 15-day safety trash bin to prevent accidental deletion, users are advised to back up exported audio files to iCloud Drive or Files.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Application.
